Many kids have trouble focusing on school work and get distracted easily. And why not? There are so many others things to do and think about. But getting down to business and focusing on schoolwork is an important skill to master. Unfortunately, it is a skill that isn't usually learned without any outside help. As parents, it is important to help our children become more disciplined students. Here’s how.
We all worry about our kids. It starts from the beginning. Should she be walking by now? Is his speech where it should be? Is she ready for preschool? Is he getting picked on in school? Is she doing well in her classes? Does he need outside help?
It may seem like everywhere you look there are mentions of the ACT and how to prepare for it. While it may sometimes feel like overkill, there’s actually a very good reason why test prep is being pushed heavily.
The ACT is one of those things where it pays to be prepared. Kind of like storms and power outages.
We at The House understand the frustration that comes with watching your child struggle in school. With often overcrowded classrooms and increasingly difficult curriculum, it can be a struggle for students to keep up, much less excel. We would love to help!
