Community Service Award
We grant the Chicago Academic Service Award annually to a high school student exemplifying the spirit of public service in the Chicagoland community.
We believe that any endeavor, whether it be succeeding in school, applying to college or achieving personal success of any kind, should always be partnered by a responsibility to serve one’s community.
In this spirit, Chicago Academic tutors low-income Chicagoland high school students whenever possible. We believe that our services can help propel even the most economically challenged students to a college career and beyond.
With this award, we hope to challenge students to participate in the development of their community and help nurture a sense of social responsibility and duty among Chicagoland’s high school students.
